Andrea "Mahigun" Bogiatto
Director
Director and Founder of the “Zero Earth Academy”, he worked for years as an emergency medical rescuer with the Italian Red Cross, as a lifeguard, and as an ambulance driver.
In 2002, he finally achieved his childhood dream by proudly and honorably donning the uniform of the Italian National Police. Throughout his long years of service, he has achieved many personal and professional milestones, working in various operational departments. He has held key positions in public order and security, serving in the “Anti-Riot & Crowd Control Brigade” V and VI in Turin and Genoa, specializing as a public order operator, where he actively worked in sports security and political unrest.
Later, he served in the “Squadra Volante”, contributing to the prevention and suppression of criminal activities.
Due to his outstanding service record, he was offered a position with the “undercover” investigative team. However, he declined, as he had always aspired to join the elite special units of the National Police since the beginning of his career.

Just a step away from joining the NOCS (Special Operative Unit) of the National Police due to family issues, he joined the K9 Unit as an explosives detection handler. In this role, he participated in major national and international events, such as the exhibition of the Shroud of Turin and the signing of European Treaties, ensuring the security of national and international heads of state, including the former President of the State of Israel, the Presidents of the Russian Federation, and Pope Benedict XVI.
He was also the driving force behind the introduction of patrol and emergency response operations with K-9 units, which were previously unknown in Italy.
After retiring from the Italian State Police, he founded two companies—one in Italy and another in the United States—where he also earned a diploma from a prestigious K-9 training academy.
Through his company in the USA, “Dogs Enforcement LLC”, he supplied trained dogs to various law enforcement agencies in the state of Florida, where he had the great honor and opportunity to conduct operational patrol services.
After this high-level experience, he was called upon to design a security project for the United Nations (UN), for which he provided training and development activities. This led to several other international collaborations in countries such as the Netherlands and Spain.

Throughout his career, he has participated in various broadcasts, including “Successo.com” with Giacomo Catalani and radio shows, such as Radio 101 (a national Italian radio station), where he created three podcasts on different topics, including the most important one, titled “Unidad K-9”—the world’s first Spanish-language podcast about K-9 working units.
He is the author of two books and has been a professor at E-Campus University, Faculty of Criminology, in Rome, as well as a lecturer at the Inter-American University of Buenos Aires (UAI) in Argentina. He is a recognized and accredited instructor and professional trainer by the Training and Improvement Division of the Spanish Ministry of the Interior.
